Whilst perhaps we cant be definitive in saying it was great to see all those happy faces on the return as they were hidden by masks!we all certainly could feel the high level of student excitement and enthusiasm that was present in classrooms and around the college grounds. Classrooms were noisy. Productive noise. Busy noise. Excited noise. Happy noise. Learning in the physical classroom, face to face with teachers is most definitely back and arent we all so pleased that it is!What was equally as impressive to see was the way in which all students respected the need for being COVIDsafe wearing masks, physical distancing and vigilant hygiene practices. It is a team effort and something that directly impacts on all students, staff, and our community. Students were considerate of the spaces of congestion in and around our corridors, passage ways and locker spaces, in particular those students relocated to the cubbies end of the school. Students demonstrated patience and respect when moving to and from their lockers which was great to see. The line up at the canteen was spaced and orderly, and those waiting for the buses used hand sanitiser and distanced themselves before boarding on their bus to go home from school.

Although the government can steer factories to overcome shortages, makers of heavy goods such as cars and trucks cant just flip a switch and produce something else. It would be difficult to get ventilator or even surgical mask designs, line up parts supplies and train workers to make them in a short period, said Jorge Alvarado, a professor in the Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution Department at Texas AandM University. And auto plants generally arent clean enough to make medical equipment. Companies also would have to find mask or ventilator manufacturers willing to share knowledge, expertise and even factory workers to transfer production elsewhere, Alvarado said. During World War II, automakers were more easily able to shift to making tanks and planes because they are close relatives to cars and trucks, Alvarado said. Auto factory equipment such as robots and assembly lines arent really compatible with smaller items such as ventilators, he said. Other industries may be better equipped to help with the virus. Rum producer Bacardi, for example, said its distillery in Puerto Rico has shifted to making ethanol needed to produce hand sanitizer. Small U. S. distilleries such as Eight Oaks Farm in Pennsylvania are converting operations to make alcohol based disinfectant.

The hypothesis that some neurons maintain a brightness label is consistent with the idea that the brain strives to monitor the external world undistracted by predictable changes in its own physiology. This whole paradigm of neurophysiological stimuli and response can be easily studied by having a researcher operate one driving simulation algorithm for each option, both the current red only status quo, and the proposed MARSS. The fMRI will trace blood flow metabolism rates, defining the neuraltrace connectivity in switching from the Occipital Lobe fordull/bright Red neural processing with Null Ho; to the SemioticPre Frontal/Limbic system for anticipation and gratification for theaddition of the Green running light to the paradigm of visualcommunication being turned into action. Adding the color green, denoting positive acceleration, to rear signaling systems will create the effective communication needed for people with disabilities to access safer driving conditions. Semiotic Cross Referencing of green tap into thelanguage processing parts of our attention stimulation HUB youknow, the part of you that anticipates the positive emotional responseof seeing green as a symbol for Go, the brain will more quickly respond. I quote: The frontal cortexis involved in executive control, delayed gratification, long termplanning, writes Robert M. Sapolsky in Monkeyluv and Other Essays onOur Lives as Animals 2005. It does this by sending inhibitoryprojections into the limbic system, a deeper, more ancient brainsystem involved in emotion and impulsivity. ayingAttentionToEmotion. pdfCognition and emotion are intricately intertwined, because individuals orient toward, perceive, and interpret external stimuli in the context of their motivational and behavioral significance. Information associated with danger, for example, may be especially likely to capture or engage attention.
